These illustrations tell a story.

What’s the one thing that every single artist needs? That they are able to convey an entire narrative through their work without using a single word. Artists use a different strategy than writers, who can use words by the thousands to convey the emotions they want their audience to experience. To inject a little of a feeling that you hope will be evoked when you look at that painting. I can confidently say that whoever created these illustrations is a true master of their craft.

This level of horror is not for shock value. It’s obvious that he intends for the audience to feel like they’re right there with the main character in the scene. And his distinctive style of art, which blends realism and fantasy so effortlessly, undoubtedly aids in this. So scroll down and take a look at these eerie pictures for yourself. Just a heads up, some of these are terrifying enough to give you nightmares.
