Some of these careers are almost legendary in the entertainment industry, such as Kim Kardashian West’s stint as a personal shopper for A-listers and Meghan Markle’s time as a freelance calligrapher before becoming the Duchess of Sussex. Others, such as Kris Jenner’s previous job as a flight attendant for American Airlines before she became a self-assigned talent manager and earned previously unheard-of levels of celebrity for her six children, required further investigation.

Before she became famous, Meghan Markle worked a variety of jobs and grew up in a family in which she was the only parent. She worked as a calligrapher on a freelance basis, giving seminars and designing wedding invitations. According to photos from 2018, Meghan’s handwriting has not lost any of its elegance.

Before beginning his career in acting, Hugh Jackman was a physical education teacher in a high school in the United Kingdom. Jackman’s brief teaching career has been eclipsed by his cinematic career, although he recognized Rollo Ross as one of his former students at the Zurich Film Festival in 2014. Jackman made a lighthearted comment, “How’s school? In response, Ross exclaimed, “Absolutely!”

Nicole Kidman, who was born in Hawaii and spent her childhood on Sydney’s North Shore, made her debut in the feature film industry with the 1990 film Days of Thunder. Depp hated his job as a telemarketer when he worked in that industry. During an interview in 2014, he made the following statement: “You said, ‘I’m Edward Quartermaine from California.’” This antique grandfather clock or a trip for two to Tahiti is yours, whichever you prefer. This is assuming that they purchase a large quantity of pens. Terrible. It was my very first job in the acting industry.”

Modeling was Diaz’s first job, just like it was for a lot of other actresses. Years before her breakthrough appearance in 1994’s The Mask, she was on the cover of Seventeen magazine at age 16 and in advertisements for Coca-Cola and Calvin Klein.

Before she became famous, Taylor Swift worked as an unanticipated employee on a Christmas tree farm.
