The animal kingdom never ceases to astonish researchers with its peculiar social interactions. Greetje Arends-Hakvoort is a horse trainer in Kootwijkerbroek, Netherlands, and she is the one who takes care of these three very best friends – Nevada, an Appaloosa stallion who is 10 years old, Napoleon, a Shetland pony who is 6 years old, and Jack Sparrow, a Dalmatian who is 2 years old. Even though they are of different kinds, these three creatures have an identical appearance. They were all born with black spots, and now their friendship is an example to others in their condition.

The three animals adore spending time together, and one of their favorite things to do when they do so is to go running. They’re fond of humans too and Greetje’s 7-year-old daughter, Jolie Lune Arends seems to be their favorite partner.

“I have always wanted a Dalmatian dog and I love spotted horses so two of my wishes came together in a special way,” Greetje explained for MailOnline. When people see the three of them together, they can’t help but break out in a smile; frequently, people make references to the film 101 Dalmatians, and it brings up pleasant childhood memories for them.

Trust, according to Greetje, who oversees the Human Horse Academy, is the most important factor in these improbable friendships. She also hopes the black spotted club will get bigger as other three horses with the same unique markings are ready to join in. As a result of the expansion of the family, we now have even more room here! She went on to say that “We have three other horses and that training them is my passion.”
