Almost everyone would answer “no.” You might not like Disney movies at first, but that opinion will change quickly once you see the books and other works from which they are adapted. In other words, if you dig deep enough, you’ll find that several Disney characters have a very dark history that the media only hints at. Disney, however, has never lost its reputation for being appropriate for the whole family.

Therefore, they will never make a true horror film. And even though they own a number of well-known franchises that feature elements of horror, they will never intentionally scare you. This artist, however, set out to change that by creating terrifying versions of some of our favourite Disney characters. Ignoring the artists’ undeniable skill, these creations are enough to give even the bravest of souls the willies.

Pex is the name of the French artist who created these. They get their ideas from things that are happening in the world today, like pop culture and the news. I highly recommend checking out their website, where you can view even more examples of their stunning artwork. They also come up with insightful sketches whose meanings stay with you long after you’ve forgotten their execution.
