Ever wondered what villains would look like if they were kids?

Don’t worry about it any longer! Since at least one exceptionally talented artist has actually achieved that goal. Vivianne Dubois has transformed some of Disney’s most notorious bad guys into adorable but mischievous infant versions of themselves, and I can’t bring myself to believe that any of them could possibly be malicious.

You see, Vivianne Dubois has always had a penchant for art, and ever since he was a young child, he has particularly enjoyed creating works that are perceived as “cute.” Dubois told Bored Panda, “Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve loved drawing. But it wasn’t until I started looking at art schools while trying to figure out what to do after high school that I seriously considered it as a career option. I’m an animator for an upcoming Amazon Prime series, and I trained in 2D animation at the Utrecht School of the Arts.

When I was in my first year of art school, I had the inspiration for this project. I’m new to digital art and have mostly stuck to making fan art.

The Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland

Vivianne explained that she came up with the idea because she found it “interesting to see how the villains might have acted and looked like when they were just naive little kids while trying to maintain their key personality traits.” And I liked drawing cute things because of that.

I jumped right in with my number one pick, Ursula, and worked my way down the list of authors I love. At first I intended to recreate all of the bad guys, but eventually I grew bored with the project and moved on to other things.
