It is unethical for so many different reasons to keep a wild animal in captivity. They experience negative effects on both their bodies and their minds, and it even causes them to lose the instinct to care for their young. This results in the cubs being rejected by their parents shortly after they are born. Unfortunately, even after these animals are being rescued their wild instincts are not getting back.

A young lioness who lived in a wildlife park in Russia was the victim of this unfortunate event. Everyone was beyond thrilled because this was going to be Sirona’s very first child, and she was just about to give birth. It is quite rare for a big wild cat to gave birth in captivity, so the event was welcomed with enthusiasm by the staff. However, not everything went according to plan shortly after Sirona gave birth to her two adorable little cubs and brought them into the world.

The sweet German Shepherd took in the two young cubs almost immediately and began raising them as if they were her own offspring. She cares for them and even feeds them. Since Sandra is the mother of her own litter, she uses her own milk to nourish the newborn lion cubs. It would appear that the two orphaned cubs are able to find the solace and support they require from their adoptive mother, which ultimately saved their lives.
