Even though everyone is aware that the cost of pet grooming services is extremely high, some people are still surprised by the fact that it is even more expensive than getting a haircut for themselves. Therefore, a stylist has posted a sign in her salon to explain why the prices are ostensibly so unreasonable. The internet is laughing their asses off at her ten reasons for pointing them out.

Her poster begins with a catchy title: “Top ten reasons why it costs more to get your pet groomed than it does to get your own hair cut.” The line that is above it is followed by a series of points that are clear and concise, numbered from ten to one. Other than cutting the hair of an animal, a pet groomer is responsible for the following tasks, as shown by the numbers six through ten:

In addition to having a large workload, a groomer must contend with many unforeseen conflicts involving the animals in their care. When an unfamiliar person tries to touch an animal, many of them will not remain still, and occasionally they will even attack the groomer. The number one entry on the list, which refers to an embarrassing but common occurrence, is the one that causes the most outbursts of laughter from the general public:

“5. You sit still for your hairdresser.

3. Your hairdresser does nothing more than wash your hair and cut it on your head.

Another believed that pet groomers deserved high pay as they were doing a tough job: “I would pay anything to get my dog properly washed and groomed. I gave it a try for myself, and all I got was chaos.”

A third individual chimed in and said, “Love this sign. I just took my pup for a doggy spa day to get all these services mentioned and it was totally worth it.”
