Travelling alone can become boring.
In order to maximise your vacation experience, you should bring along either a human companion or a pet. Infinitely more enjoyable is a trip when shared with friends. But what if there’s nobody you can bring along? So, you book a room at this Mississippi River resort, right?
Home2 Suites by Hilton Biloxi North/D’Iberville is a business that has been operated by Fostering Hope. In exchange for a small adoption fee, you can foster animals during your hotel stay and take them home with you when you leave. Dogs make up the bulk of the animals rescued from the Humane Society of South Mississippi.
Relationship manager Bianca Janik told USA TODAY that the shelter sees a lot of “transient guests” who stay for months at a time near our army and navy bases and that’s just enough time to fall in love with a dog.
For Teresa, this was the way to make their hotel stand out from the competition. She advocated for greater participation by the company in local events. The idea was very unconventional, but Janik believed it was the best option for finding new homes for their animals.
According to Janik, “our adoption programme is very accessible.” “People who adopt are trying to better their lives. We hold the option of saying no. We could say, “We’re not quite at home here, but if you come by the shelter tomorrow, we’ll be able to help you find the perfect fit.”
